Peace is found in gratitude for the natural beauty we are blessed with everyday. That is why spending time on the lake has become paramount to me as I have come to realize that life is short. I have worked hard, graduated college, had two successful careers. Now it is time to slow down and smell the roses, catch some fish, watch the sunrise and sunset, enjoy the sounds and smells of a roaring fire, indulge in foods cooked outside (because food always taste better outdoors), lounge in some fine furniture while watching the birds, plant life, and wildlife living on the shores the lake. There will be waves to float on, boat rides to take, fireworks to marvel at, lots of fabulous people to love, music to enjoy, and much laughter. So get aboard and join me for a life of leisure as I continue to search for peace through gratitude in one of the most beautiful places in the world……Land between the Lakes. I will share with you beautiful photos, humorous stories, links to great fishing, information about one of the biggest man made bodies of water in the world, and some of my favorite supplies for lake houses to make the journey more comfortable.
